Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

We are looking for an Always Works Integration Engineer to triage and root-cause on-robot failures, drive appropriate corrective actions, and validate fixes to close out issues.

Responsibilities: 

• Rapidly respond to on-robot failures by triaging the problem and collecting any necessary information for further investigation
• Drive root-cause analysis of the failure, working across electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and technician teams as needed
• Validate corrective actions to avoid future failures
• Document failure analysis procedures and results
• Assist with improved diagnostics to more rapidly detect failure modes

Requirements: 

• Relevant experience troubleshooting mechatronic systems
• Software development experience in C++ and Python
• Depth in one or more of the following areas: electrical, firmware, mechanical, or controls

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Prior experience working robotic systems
• Prior experience working with humanoids
• Prior experience performing failure analysis on real products

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $120,000 - $210,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
