AI Workflow Analyst– Summer 2025 (3-Month Contract Position)Location: Chicago (Hoffman Estates), ILDepartment: Business Technology Group (BTG)Reports To: VP of TechnologyDuration: 3 months (Summer 2025) About the RoleWalker Consultants is seeking a motivated and curious intern to assist our Business Technology Group with evaluating and piloting AI tools, specifically focused on Stack.ai – an AI-powered platform that will help automate and accelerate the creation of technical reports. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in AI, software tools, and how emerging technology can be used to improve workflows in the Architecture, Engineering, and Consulting (AEC) industry. Key Responsibilities- Support evaluation and proof-of-concept testing of Stack.ai- Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to understand existing report workflows and identify integration opportunities for report creation - Assist with gathering requirements, creating and configuring templates, and testing output - Research best practices and industry use cases related to AI in documentation and content automation - Support documentation, training materials, and presentations as needed Preferred Qualifications- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information -Systems, or related field - Familiarity or interest in AI technologies, natural language processing (NLP), or document automation tools - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have)- Experience working with APIs, automation tools, or AI platforms- Exposure to the AEC industry or technical report writing- Understanding of prompt engineering or generative AI concepts
