Job Description: 

The AI Systems and Solutions Engineer is responsible for the design and development of integrated AI solutions, focusing on deep learning and machine learning systems. This role involves working with hardware, software, firmware, and silicon components to meet customer requirements and implementation constraints. The engineer will also influence the AI product roadmap and collaborate on next-generation AI technologies. 

   

In this role, your responsibilities will include:   

  • Design and develop integrated AI solutions for deep learning and machine learning systems. 

  • Translate business opportunities into use cases and develop product specifications. 

  • Influence AI product roadmap based on deep understanding of AI algorithms and customer requirements. 

  • Develop new methods in reinforcement learning, policy learning, computer vision, machine learning, simulation, sim2real, autonomous driving, and robotics. 

  • Lead design, analysis, and implementation of component-level choices across AI systems. 

  • Deliver end-to-end technical solutions, deploy solutions, execute benchmark tests, and prepare documentation. 

  • Monitor utilization and plan continuous process improvements. 

  • Collaborate with teams to analyze next-generation requirements and guide research and academic collaborations. 

  • Simulate real-life environments and analyze prototype performance. 

  • Contribute applied knowledge to the AI roadmap in collaboration with AI system architects. 

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience, OR Master’s Degree with 2+ years of experience, OR PHD, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or STEM-related field. 

  • 2+ years of experience in ML model compression, multimodal feature extraction, and classification. 

  • 3+ years of experience in Python coding skills. 

  • 2+ years of experience of researching computer vision techniques  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in rapid learning techniques

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$123,958.00-$185,952.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
