About the Role

The Firsthand Solutions Consulting team plays a pivotal role in driving growth and success by helping to bridge the gap between our cutting-edge new technology solution and our clients’ business needs. The team develops deep understandings of market and client requirements, collaborates with internal and external audiences to fully implement Firsthand’s products and services, and helps commercialize our solutions.

Solutions Engineers are a crucial technical supporting arm of the Solutions team. They leverage deep understanding of our platform, our product development, our data, and ad tech mechanics to implement, test and refine solutions for our clients.

This is a multifaceted position encompassing diverse responsibilities, including technical integration, prompt engineering, technical troubleshooting and strategic data analysis, and offers opportunities to contribute significantly to our clients' and our company's success.

You'll be responsible for:

Solution design and implementation

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives and challenges.

  • Develop customized technical experiments and solutions that align with client requirements.

Technical implementation and support

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients during pre- and post-sales processes.

  • Work with clients and internal teams to configure technical implementations and analyze results.

Sales collaboration and proposal development

  • Participate in product demo meetings and speak to the technical functionality and benefits of Firsthand solutions, providing technical explanations in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate representation of technical aspects in pitches and proposals.

Data and Product Analysis

  • Analyze publisher and advertiser content to identify potential risks and optimizations to implementations.

  • Analyze agent performance data to assist with generation of compelling data analyses and case studies with insights and recommendations for Firsthand clients

  • Identify areas for future optimization of Firsthand products

Training and documentation

  • Generate detailed technical documentation and guidelines for the wider Solutions Consulting team

  • Collaborate with Product Management to create training materials and documentation for internal and external audiences

  • Provide training to clients on the use and maintenance of Firsthand solutions

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of demonstrated excellence in a similar role and tech company operating environment, ideally including adtech or martech experience.

  • Ability to immerse in the inner workings of complex and innovative new technology like AI and rapidly become a subject matter expert.

  • Passion for innovation and helping to define the future of media, marketing, and AI.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, including with clients, product management and engineering teams, with an aptitude for explaining technical concepts to non-technical people and demonstrating high professional integrity.

  • Highly organized self-starter with the skills and zeal to take accountability for and leadership of multiple projects and competing priorities.

  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Background in technical consulting and/or a degree in computer science a plus.
