Designs, develops, integrates, tests, validates, and/or debugs software to enable Intel product features to enable or utilize Artificial Intelligence, including machine learning and deep learning. Understands internal and external partner software and develops software across the stack (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable and optimize specific AI features, capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel products. May include the development of reference AI software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value of Intel AI products, the development and/or optimization of workloads for AI benchmarks, and workloads for simulation to support preSi power and performance analysis and architecture recommendations.

Qualifications:Master/Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technology degree/qualification with 5+ years of applicable industry experience.Software Proficiency: Strong background in object-oriented programming, C++,Python, Software EngineeringLinux Software Development: Development and debug experience is a must.Embedded Hardware Design: Proficiency with VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog for simulation and synthesis is nice to have.AI Fundamentals: Understanding of underlying principles such as dot product (multiply and accumulate), activation functions, convolution, etc., and how they relate to, and enable, AI network
topologies.Familiarity with Git and CI tools: Git for source code management, and experience with CI/CD and automated software/hardware regression testing are highly
advantageous.Preferred Qualifications:Virtual Platform Modelling: Hands-on experience with Intel Simics or similar virtual platform modelling and simulation
environments.Multithreaded Application Development: Expertise in C/C++.HW Validation Methodology: Experience beyond basic HDLs such as Verilog and VHDL.,UVM for hardware verificationEmbedded SW, Firmware, and/or System Validation: Debug and signoff experience.Numerics and AI Data Processing: Understanding of floating point datatypes, type conversion, commutativity, and precision in the context of AI data processing structures such as tensors and blobs.Familiarity with SoC Architecture: System-level understanding of data flows and memory management, including simulation of HW components and functions such as registers, data/memory interfaces, MMUs, CPUs, DSPs, NoCs, interrupts, and CPR (clock, power, reset).Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and/or
