AI Consultant

Key Role:

Play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and implementation of AI solutions within the Indo-Pacific region. Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into technical requirements. Maintain responsibility for designing, developing, and deploying AI models and systems that enhance business processes and decision-making. Lead AI projects from conception to deployment and ensure that solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and contribute effectively to projects. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and related technologies, and apply knowledge to innovate and improve existing solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or R
  • Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Ability to lead AI projects from conception to deployment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with natural language processing, deep learning, or computer vision projects, and with system integration using protocols such as JSON, REST, and XML
  • Experience in the technology ecosystems of AI/ML, Autonomous Systems, or Sensor Technologies
  • Experience with engineering or technical work in the DoD or similar organizations
  • Knowledge of the venture capital ecosystem, including industry-standard research and development and product development approaches
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI and related technologies
  • Possession of strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate expectations and deliverables effectively to clients
  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred; Doctorate degree in a relevant field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
