Our Linux Graphics E2E Validation Team in Poland is growing. We are looking for a candidate with a solid engineering background and good Linux knowledge, to drive graphics software validation and debug in Linux environment. The candidate will work in multiple graphics domains including 3D, Media and Compute userspaces as well as kernel driver. Candidate will be responsible for proving high-quality SW stack for demanding client platforms including integrated and discrete platforms, engage with customer issues and test automation.


In your role you will be involved in:

  • Designing and developing automated tests, executing tests, and processing sightings
  • Creating and documenting validation strategy/plan
  • Analyzing and writing test standards and procedures
  • Working with hardware designs and embedded software
  • Using your strong Python/scripting programming skills with solid experience in driving algorithmic solutions from prototype to implementation
  • Developing tests in automated framework
  • Collaborating with sub-teams in the graphics team on different cases and tasks
  • Understanding the architecture of features
  • Driving E2E validation usages focused across concurrency, reliability/stress through scalable/automated infrastructure
  • You will be able to handle top-down system-level triage/debug and work well with developers, SW/HW architects to root cause issues
  • Increasing your experience in managing all aspects of SW debugging

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Engineering and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication
  • Practical knowledge of one of the following: Python, Bash, other scripting language
  • Demonstrated software debug knowledge
  • Experience in tests automation, knowing embedded test automation framework(s) is an advantage
  • Proven experience in software testing, including embedded software tests
  • Software development experience in Linux or Unix environment
  • Experience and knowledge of Hardware specifics
  • Good written/verbal communication skills, including cultural awareness
  • Team player and positive attitude
  • Good English and written/verbal communication skills
  • Customer focus mindset
  • Proactive, self-organizing and solutions-oriented mindset


Additional nice to have:

  • Experience working with Open Source projects
  • Experience with debugging tools especially with domain specific ones such as Renderdoc, Perfetto, etc.
