Delivery Lead, AI for Healthcare

IQVIA’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Healthcare team is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee the delivery of Clinical Decision Support Tool (CDST) projects and other AI solution across customer segments in the United States. IQVIA’s CDST offering helps providers identify and close gaps in clinical care across a broad range of diseases, thus improving healthcare delivery. While the product is always provider-facing, it is funded by a diverse set of healthcare stakeholders: pharma, government, non-profits, and providers, requiring a thoughtfully designed sales strategy. This is a new opportunity within our AI team to play a strategic role in shaping a high-quality delivery team for a leader, who shares a passion for improving the quality of care for patients and clinicians using AI-driven data insights deployed at the point of care and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and delivery of advanced statistical/AI projects: You will be responsible for overseeing all project work streams working with a cross-functional team (consultants, data scientists, clinical experts, IT architects and informaticians) to deliver high-quality projects within budget and timeline.
  • Identify knowledge gaps: You will be responsible for assessing knowledge gaps across delivery team and recommending/administering training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the BD team: You will coordinate with the Business Development (BD) team to review scope of late-stage proposals to confirm delivery team’s ability to execute against the proposed scope, timeline and effort.
  • Delivery communication: You will be responsible for reporting on delivery status for all ongoing projects to the leadership team, anticipating and proactively communicating challenges and looping in team leadership when needed to support with resolution.
  • Manage a team: You will have line management responsibilities for a small team of consultants.

Skills

  • BA/BSc preferably related to medicine, nursing, economics, business, engineering, statistics, or computer science
  • A postgraduate qualification in medical or statistical field or a related discipline is desirable although not essential
  • Strong capability and extensive experience in managing analytics projects and priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality deliverables
  • Strong experience in US healthcare (ideally with a specific focus on providers and life sciences), including understanding of organizational incentives, structure, and operations.
  • Pre-existing experience with or desire to upskill in the application of statistics and AI in healthcare
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, developing credible relationships with senior level managers and executives
  • Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Line management or extensive formal mentorship experience

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $129,000.00 - $215,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
