We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled working student (m/f/d) to join our Artificial Intelligence team, focusing on Generative AI and Data Analytics projects.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge AI technologies, contributing to real-world projects while continuing your studies. You will focus on the technical implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) use cases utilizing existing infrastructure and services. This role involves setting up systems and pipelines, maintaining them, and developing a framework to evaluate and compare different technical approaches within those systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and optimization of generative AI models, including data preparation, model training, and evaluation
• Perform data analysis to extract meaningful insights, support decision-making processes, and contribute to the improvement of AI models
• Understand user´s pain points and requirements and support the product manager in shaping the RAG system products
• Support the implementation of a robust framework for the evaluation and comparison of RAG systems, as well as the further improvements of the systems based on user´s feedbacks
• Help in documenting technical processes, setups, and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing
• Participate in team meetings, providing updates and insights on project progress

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related field
• Good knowledge of Python, and familiarity with AI frameworks like Azure AI Services, Haystack, LLangchain and general technologies such as API Development (FastAPI) and Databases (Relational, Hybrid, Vector); experienced in data analysis tools and techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and model development, in particular in the NLP and LLMs field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to document and explain technical details clearly
• Your English (written and spoken) is very good; our team communicates in English
