The Role

As a Lead UI Developer, you will be responsible for designing & implementing essential utilities and functionalities within our applications, with a focus on metadata-driven UI frameworks designed for the AI era. You will manage the development process, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices to ensure the efficiency and high performance of our UI components. You will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Architect to ensure technical alignment. This role encompasses both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, providing technical solutions and operational guidance while contributing to the enhancement of our products.

What you will do

• Architect, develop and test a highly interactive, metadata-driven UI framework utilizing modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Establish UI domain architecture standards, best practices, patterns, and coding requirements.
• Lead the UI roadmap with hands-on examples, including proof of concepts and reference implementations.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to established coding standards.
• Strategically focus on optimizing user experience, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Recommend processes, services, software, and tools to support user interfaces and infrastructure technologies in line with business objectives.
• Collaborate with product managers, lead architects, UX designers, and other product developers to efficiently implement scalable features within agile environments.

Requirements

• Ability to envision & construct metadata-driven UI frameworks that enhance customer experience driving growth.
• Enthusiasm for pioneering new ideas and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Strong skills in articulating, documenting, and presenting ideas and work within the engineering organization.
• 5+ years of software development experience within an Agile environment building SaaS products for B2B. At least 2 years in a lead position.
• 3+ years experience developing with Vue.js.
• Experience building Vue applications that utilize Nuxt 3 or other server-side rendering(SSR) frameworks.
• 6+ years experience with standard web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, GraphQL, REST API, and JSON.
• Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
• Experience with utilizing AI to optimize development and quality assurance processes.
• Significant experience in UI design and development for large-scale applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of front-end security best practices and principles.
• Proven experience collaborating on scalable backend development, including microservices and GraphQL/REST APIs.
• Experience developing full-stack solutions on public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

Additional Skills:

• Certifications or relevant training in Vue.js or frontend development.
• Expertise in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, etc.
