We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Vice President – AI Models Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI models that drive strategic business outcomes. As a senior leader within our technology team, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of advanced AI models—from data ingestion and preprocessing to experimentation, optimization, and production deployment. This is a highly hands-on and technical leadership role for someone passionate about AI, with a strong background in machine learning algorithms, model architecture design, and scalable model deployment.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Engineering, and Infrastructure, and will be expected to mentor and guide a high-performing team of AI scientists and engineers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and has a proven track record of delivering sophisticated AI/ML solutions in production.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of machine learning and deep learning models for complex business problems.
• Drive AI/ML strategy and roadmap aligned with overall business objectives.
• Design scalable and robust model architectures using state-of-the-art AI techniques (e.g., transformers, LLMs, generative models, reinforcement learning, etc.).
• Work closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure high-quality, reliable datasets for training and inference.
• Establish and enforce best practices for model lifecycle management including version control, reproducibility, explainability, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define use cases, model goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
• Stay updated with the latest research and integrate relevant findings into model development workflows.
• Mentor and develop a team of AI developers and research engineers to deliver high-quality work at scale.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 9+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with a proven record of building and deploying models at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, HuggingFace, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and model optimization techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps practices for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Expertise in working with large datasets and data preprocessing pipelines.
• Experience building production-grade models in NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, or Recommendation Systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with LLMs and generative AI models.
• Contributions to research papers or open-source ML tools.
• Background in distributed training and model parallelism.
