About kaiko

In cancer care, treatment decisions can take many days—but patients don’t have that time. One of the reasons for delays? Cancer patients' data is scattered across many places: doctor’s notes, medical imagery, genomics data. At kaiko, we are developing AI foundational models to bring this data together and integrate it into clinical workflows, enabling doctors to make faster, more effective treatments decisions.

We also collaborate closely with the leading Dutch cancer research institute (NKI) on multiple AI research projects and a joint clinical validation initiative. In 2025, we plan on expanding our partnerships to even more hospitals.

We raised significant long-term funding and have offices in Zurich and Amsterdam. Over the past year, our team has nearly doubled in size, now comprising 70+ people from 25 countries.

About the role

Great technology deserves great design. As we move from foundation-building to expanding our clinical impact, we need someone who can bring our complex technology and product to life through clear, compelling, and purposeful design that resonates with clinicians and researchers.

You will be responsible for creating visual assets that make our technology accessible and engaging across all touchpoints, from social media to conference materials. This role combines hands-on design work with the opportunity to shape how we visually communicate our story. You will work closely with our content team to transform technical concepts into compelling visual stories.

You will be based in either The Netherlands or Switzerland, and are expected to spend 50% of your time in the office.

Some areas of responsibility

  • Create social media visuals and short-form videos that translate complex AI concepts into engaging content and make people stop scrolling
  • Design presentation materials and infographics that make our technology and product clear and compelling
  • Develop event materials and booth designs that bring our brand to life
  • Maintain visual consistency while adapting our brand across different formats
  • Coordinate with specialist designers when needed for specific projects

If you are a designer who loves turning complex ideas into clear visuals, are excited about making technical concepts accessible through design, and want to help shape how the world sees AI in healthcare, we think you will love this job.
