What we are looking for: As the Jr. VFX Producer you will be joining an innovative generative AI startup changing the future of filmmaking. The Jr. VFX Producer will report to the VFX Producer (LA), working closely with the Post Production, Pipeline, IO and Film Innovation teams. The Jr. VFX Producer will be responsible for the oversight of projects including feature films, episodic series, and commercial content. The Jr. VFX Producer must be adept at maintaining multiple simultaneous projects, time management, vendor management and multitasking. This Producer must be able to work effectively and efficiently with our cross-functional teams in both the US and UK locations.
Requirements
Run review sessions with vendors and creative teams.
Record notes during review sessions, and then communicate those creative and technical notes from Supervisors, Producers and Directors to Vendors and Artists in a clear and concise manner.
Maintain daily email correspondence with vendors.
Oversee sending and receiving of vendor packages in conjunction with the Data IO team.
Liase between vendors and internal teams and disseminate information in a timely manner.
Work with artist teams to ensure that resources and time requirements are being met.
Work closely with the Producer/VFX Supervisors/IO teams to schedule tasks and facilitate delivery of final materials.
Coordinate meetings, including those in multiple time zones.
Solicit/maintain vendor bids and invoicesTrack shots from turnover to delivery across Flow and internal spreadsheets.
Qualifications
A desire to work in a dynamic, technology driven production environment is a must.
In-depth understanding of VFX workflow, processes/pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Flow (Shotgrid), RV, MediaShuttle, Excel, Google Suite, Zoom, Jira.
Previous experience in film production, visual effects or gamesAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented.
Ability to work within and promote a positive team atmosphere.
Anticipate and communicate issues to resolve problems promptly.
Take responsibility for knowing details of schedule and advising accordingly.
Familiarity of common file formats and resolutions.
Maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
Multiple spoken language skills is a plus.
