Ensuring all approved prospects comply with credit policy and guidelines
Evaluating prospect's credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in approving them
Ability to analyze cash flows, leverage, collateral and customer strength
Create innovative credit evaluation processes and systems
Draft models of credit information that predict trends and patterns
Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives
Leadership: effectively lead, manage and develop the credit teams.
Requirements
2-5+ years of proven credit experience
Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional analytical skills, detailed documentation, and sound judgment
Expert-level understanding of loan policy and reporting needs
Solid understanding of lending procedures.
Must be able to perform independently, be self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as credit reports, mortgage statements, bank and credit statements, court documents, and the customer service manual.
