Value, Access, & Policy Summer Intern (AI Integration Focus)

As a Value, Access, and Policy Summer Intern, you will support the development of Amgen’s market access and policy strategies through the innovative application of artificial intelligence (AI) in market analysis and stakeholder insights. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects that aim to enhance decision-making and improve the external environment for our products.

Assignments:

• Leverage AI tools and methodologies to assist in the analysis of market access environments and policy trends.
• Support stakeholder insights gathering and information alignment to predict and inform strategic decisions.
• Contribute to building models or tools that integrate AI for market trend forecasting and scenario planning.
• Showcase your work through a short presentation on a topic related to the assigned task and deliver a final presentation to senior leadership at the conclusion of your internship.

Qualifications:

• Interest in the biopharma industry and AI applications in healthcare.
• Enrolled in a graduate program related to Pharmacy, Medical/Health Sciences, or Information Technology with a strong understanding of AI applications.
• Undergraduate students who have completed at least 3 years of study are also welcome to apply if they have relevant knowledge or experience.
• Strong analytical skills, quick learning aptitude, and familiarity with digital tools.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Full-time availability (5 days/week) during the summer.
