Key Responsibilities:
  • QA Strategy & Leadership:
    Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes across multiple projects. Ensure the alignment of QA efforts with business goals, technical requirements, and product timelines.
  • Test Planning & Execution:
    Oversee the development and execution of test plans for functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Automation Framework & Tools:
    Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks. Ensure effective use of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium) for both backend and front-end testing.
  • Team Mentorship & Development:
    Mentor and guide the QA team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, technical specifications, and quality expectations.
  • Test Documentation & Reporting:
    Ensure comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defects. Provide detailed reports on test results, quality metrics, and project status to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Quality Metrics & Continuous Improvement:
    Develop, track, and report key quality metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, defect resolution time). Drive continuous improvement efforts by analyzing defects, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Risk Management & Defect Management:
    Identify and manage quality risks across projects. Lead defect management processes, ensuring that defects are tracked, prioritized, and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Performance & Load Testing:
    Oversee the execution of performance, load, and scalability testing to ensure that the application meets non-functional requirements for performance under high loads and stress conditions.
  • Customer Advocacy & Quality Focus:
    Be the voice of the customer by ensuring that quality standards are consistently met and that any defects or issues impacting user experience are addressed promptly.

Key Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing QA teams.
    • Proven experience leading both manual and automated testing efforts in complex, multi-tiered applications.
    • Strong expertise in test automation, test management, and QA methodologies.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
