United States and India. We are seeking a Medical Records Document Specialist based in India to
leverage their expertise in medical records to assist in building, training, and maintaining AI models
that support our law firm clients.

Job Summary:
The Medical Records Document Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness
of our AI models by applying deep knowledge of medical records and document management. The
ideal candidate should have proven experience dealing with medical documents (US market)
specialized in analyzing document types and key information. This role will work closely with data
science and product teams to ensure our AI solutions perform effectively in real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Record Expertise:
● Medical Record Analysis: Utilize expertise in reading, understanding, and summarizing medical records to assist in annotating, categorizing, and processing documents needed for AI model training.
● Subject Matter Expert: Serve as an internal expert on the structure, terminology, and documentation standards used in medical records, and train team members on effective document handling and categorization techniques.

AI Model Support:

● Data Preparation for AI Training: Collaborate with data scientists to prepare datasets for AI model training, testing, and validation, ensuring proper annotation of medical terms, diagnoses, treatments, and procedural codes.
● Real-World Testing: Assist in assessing and evaluating the performance of AI models in real-world scenarios by validating model outputs against medical record standards and ensuring accuracy across different states and healthcare systems in India.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
● Agile Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to implement AI-driven solutions for medical document management.
● Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to product discussions and strategy meetings to identify areas for improvement in AI model performance and product functionality based on insights from medical records.

Communication & Reporting:
● Effective Communication: Regularly communicate with internal teams to provide updates,
clarify requirements, and document performance metrics using project management tools
such as JIRA, Excel, and email.
● Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of processes, data
annotation guides, and best practices for use by the wider team.

Skills & Qualifications:
● Medical Records Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical record summarization, review, and documentation for the US healthcare market.
● Healthcare Terminology: Strong understanding of medical terminologies, diagnostic codes (ICD), and procedural documentation.
● Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with digital medical record management systems and document tagging, as well as experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
● AI/Tech Interest: Keen interest in AI and technology-driven solutions, with a desire to apply medical expertise to AI model development.
● Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
● Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in reviewing, tagging, and categorizing medical
records for accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working with legal or healthcare tech companies, especially those utilizing AI-driven document management solutions.
● Exposure to international healthcare documentation standards.
