1. CONTEXT/INTRODUCTION

European Commission agency which provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems for digital solutions that support the objectives of either supporting the administrative processes or directly supporting one of the strategies of the Commission and implementation of policy actions in Member States, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

Amongst the different solutions provided is the risk-scoring tool called Corporate Arachne; IT tool for data mining and data enrichment designed to help managing authorities and paying agencies in Member States to prevent and detect errors and irregularities and to identify risk of fraud of submitted and ongoing projects in the context of the EU Structural funds.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:
- Design, prepare and monitor automated tests.
- Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process.

- Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach.

- Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.

- Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs.

- Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach. 

- Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.

3. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

- Knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques. § Hands-on experience in the creation of test automation solutions. 

- Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
- Experience in the test data management.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports.

- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.

- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.

4.NON-Technical skills:

o Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self- starting capability and experience in working in team;

o Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;

o Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;

o Excellent Team Player

o Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1) is mandatory. Ability to speak French will be an advantage;

5.LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Master/Bachelors Degree

6. SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

• Expert knowledge of Test Strategy, Test Pyramid and V-Model XXX

• Expert knowledge of developing unit tests in Spring and Angular

• Expert knowledge of developing narrow and wide integration testing and

  contract testing

• Expert knowledge of end-to-end testing in Angular.
