HOW A TECHNOLOGY VICE PRESIDENT, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & MACHINE LEARNING AND DATA MANAGEMENT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Through the development of divisional strategy to drive direct customer engagement, craft technical architecture responses, and cross-functional subject matter experts when applicable, for growth and proposal efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business capture. Participate in the analysis of Request for Information/Quote/Proposal requirements and participate in the development of responsive solutions to include scoping of staff requirements and other potential operational costs; review solutions developed by team members for appropriateness and completeness; present solutions to internal management and peers, as well as our customers.
- Throughout the lifecycle of opportunity pursuits or project delivery, provide updates to stakeholders on project cost, schedule, and quality in comparison to stakeholder objectives. Follow up with other solution architects who develop solutions and manage small to medium sized teams to develop responses to customers’ requirements
- Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced colleagues
- Develops overall strategy and solutions for specific issues or participates in project planning for specific products
- Defines and delegate tasks related to project completion and participate in creating project budgets, schedules, and quality plans
- Measures, evaluates, and assesses effectiveness of products and processes and develops new strategies to improve performance
- Provides leadership and guidance to development and proposal teams
- Support external communications and conference presentation
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in data, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or related technical field.
- Required Experience: 10+ years of related technical experience in the areas of Solution Architecture and Programming. Proven experience (5+ years) in AI/ML, Data Management, or related technical roles with a track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
- Required Technical Skills: Experience with AI/ML strategies and platforms
- Required Skills and Abilities: Proven track record of leading successful AI/ML initiatives, including model development, implementation, and deployment. Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
- Preferred Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire & motivate teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic mindset to influence & drive change at all levels of the organization. Proven track record of driving technical innovation and delivering complex projects. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning practices. Comprehensive knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Data Management practices, procedures, and processes. Knowledge of development of Risk & Compliance Plans for security vulnerability purposes. Comprehensive knowledge of various reporting systems. Comprehensive knowledge of development of Artificial Intelligence & Data Risk and Compliance Plans. Experience in forecasting, managing and effectively delivering multi-million-dollar organizational budgets and building zero-based budget models. Understanding of standard project methodologies regarding project initiation, current state analysis, future state design, implementation, and project transition/close-out. Ability to present business strategies (often to non-technical audiences) to obtain buy-in & funding for current and new technologies. Effective communication skills. Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective people management skills. Strong working knowledge of regulatory and statutory risk & compliance requirements. Comprehensive understanding of company strategic goals and ability to align them to operations.
- Location: This position will be hybrid with time onsite working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA

The likely salary range for this position is $212,500 - $287,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
