About the role

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter/ Sourcer to partner closely with our engineering team and drive the hiring strategy for high-impact technical roles across Robotics and AI. This is a growth-oriented role within our newly formed Talent Acquisition team, offering the opportunity to help shape best-in-class recruiting programs and processes at a company solving cutting-edge challenges in automation and intelligent systems.

This role is onsite 5 days a week at our Mountain View, CA office.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with hiring managers to design effective hiring strategies and workflows (e.g., job specs, interview panels, hiring goals).
• Serve as a strategic talent advisor and ambassador for Gatik’s mission, values, and employee value proposition.
• Optimize and scale recruiting processes to deliver an exceptional candidate experience while ensuring high hiring quality.
• Build strong pipelines using creative sourcing techniques across multiple technical domains.
• Use data and insights to influence hiring decisions and continuously improve recruitment practices.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
• Proactively engage and assess passive talent while communicating Gatik’s value proposition effectively.
• Conduct candidate screenings and guide candidates through the hiring process from first touch to offer.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in Robotics, AI, or adjacent industries (e.g., computer vision, embedded systems, machine learning, controls).
• Ability to hire across a range of functions, such as software engineering, research, perception, infrastructure, or systems.
• Experience working in high-growth or startup environments, with comfort navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Strong sourcing skills with a creative and strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to close candidates across levels and partner effectively with hiring teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to building diverse and inclusive teams.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A growing network of technical talent in Robotics, AI, or related fields is a plus.
