About kaiko

In cancer care, treatment decisions can take many days, but patients don’t have that time. One of the reasons for delays? Cancer patients' data is scattered across many places: doctor’s notes, medical imagery, genomics data. At kaiko, we are developing AI foundation models to bring this data together and integrate it into clinical workflows, enabling doctors to make faster, more effective treatments decisions.

We also collaborate closely with the leading Dutch cancer research institute (NKI) on multiple AI research projects and a joint clinical validation initiative. In 2025, we plan on expanding our partnerships to even more hospitals.

We raised significant long-term funding and have offices in Zurich and Amsterdam. Over the past year, our team has nearly doubled in size, now comprising 80+ people from 25 countries and we just got recognized as a Rising Innovator at the GenAI conference

About the role

In the past few months, we’ve built structured interviews, implemented scorecards, and tightened coordination with hiring managers. Still, we’re heavily reliant on external recruiters for sourcing and early funnel work. Your impact will be felt in multiple ways: speeding up our hiring cycle, continuously increasing our hiring bar and reducing cost per hire, especially as we plan on growing the company from 80 to 100+ by the end of the year.

We’re looking for a full-time, hands-on recruiter to help us find exceptional talent across software engineering, ML and other key technical roles. You’ll be responsible for the following:

  • Source high-quality candidates via building our outbound presence
  • Run structured screening calls
  • Help refine hiring processes and interview calibration as needed, working closely with the hiring managers on best practices

You’ll work under the people team, to help find world-class people who are excited to work on impact-oriented technology, and who raise the bar on our team culture.

You will be based in The Netherlands or Switzerland, with the expectation of spending at least 50% of your time at the office.

About you

  • You have experience doing full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including software engineering, machine learning, and data.
  • You’ve sourced amazing candidates through LinkedIn and other channels
  • You’re great at screening technical candidates and running structured interviews.
  • You’ve advised and coached hiring managers on best practices.

Nice to have:

  • You have experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment
  • You have good knowledge of the European tech hiring market
  • You’re comfortable running hiring debriefs and interview calibration sessions
