About the Role

We’re seeking an energetic and results-driven Technical Recruiter (Functional Lead) who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This role is more than filling seats — it’s about building teams that build the future. You'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring exceptional technical talent across roles such as Software Engineering, DevOps, AI/ML, and more.

This is a high-ownership position ideal for someone with a startup mindset—ready to roll up their sleeves, work hard with passion, and help build scalable processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs and craft strategic, proactive sourcing plans.
  • Identify and engage top talent through a variety of channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, networking, events, job boards, etc.).
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing to offer negotiations—while ensuring a high-touch candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Avride, showcasing our mission, culture, and opportunities to prospective talent.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate workflows.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and iterate on approaches for improved outcomes.
  • Manage and optimize relationships with third-party agencies when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruitment experience, ideally in high-growth startups or fast-paced agency settings.
  • Deep knowledge of technical roles and modern technologies (e.g., Software Engineering, DevOps).
  • Proven ability to creatively source passive candidates and close them in a competitive market.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient with ATS tools and recruitment platforms.
  • Self-starter with a startup mentality: you’re resourceful, enthusiastic, adaptable, and thrive without a playbook.
  • Passion for building processes and scaling recruitment operations from the ground up.
