The successful candidate will participate in sophisticated machine learning projects to deploy a wide variety of complex applications that include data analytics, natural language processing, speech analytics, and many more. The candidate must excel in working in a highly collaborative environment together with the business, technologists, data scientists, and control partners to deploy solutions into production.  The candidate must be patient, energetic, highly organized, and excel at conflict resolution.  The candidate must also be equally as comfortable talking to engineers as stakeholders. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work on some of the most complex problems imaginable at the intersection of two dynamic industries: Finance and AI
  • Work with software engineers, data scientists, and Business stakeholders to develop and deliver products that can change the way our clients operate, how we service our clients, and how Banking is done today
  • Working with stakeholders across the various businesses (Markets, Operations, Investment Banking, etc.) and functional groups (Legal, Technology, Middle Office, Business Management) to collect business requirements, create PRDs and ship products
  • Managing and prioritize initiatives that are requested by stakeholders
  • Provide comprehensive updates on product and use case status to senior management and stakeholders
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of use cases across the MLCOE portfolio, facilitating connections among individuals addressing similar challenges

Required Qualification, capabilities and skills:

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience building applications from conception to launch
  • Experience capturing and analyzing requirements (internal and external) and ability to build strong partnerships with technical teams
  • Experience deploying and managing chatbots with Large Language Models and without
  • Able to identify critical requirements and potential gaps by understanding complex and interdependent processes
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts through experience or coursework
  • Experience with working with engineers and data scientists towards building products is a must-have
  • Experience with the end-to-end software engineering development lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative team environments

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience with JIRA, MS Office suite, and various request ticketing systems
  • Experience with agile methodology (running scrums, sprint planning, etc)
  • Scrum Master certification a plus
  • Prior experience as an AI/ML Project Manager
  • GenAI experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with data science model development lifecycle (data preparation, model training, etc.)
