Job Overview:


We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to drive the strategic implementation of Automation & AI solutions within our HR department. This strategic role is crucial for identifying, developing, and managing solutions that enhance HR functions through both automation and AI. The successful candidate will lead projects from concept to implementation, working closely with stakeholders, partners, and vendors to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Automation and AI Initiatives:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end portfolio of automation and AI projects within HR, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and our overall HR Automation & AI strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for both automation and AI to optimize HR processes in collaboration with our functional leaders.

Develop Pipeline and Roadmap:

  • Collaborate with functional leads to create a strategic pipeline and roadmap for projects that leverage automation and AI technologies.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on potential impact, desirability, suitability, feasibility and viability using the internal evaluation framework.

Manage Collaborations:

  • Oversee relationships with delivery partners to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate with vendors to source and integrate suitable AI and automation tools and technologies.

Build Effective Business Cases:

  • Develop comprehensive business cases for automation and AI initiatives, articulating potential benefits, costs, and risks in collaboration with PMO & functional leads and drive benefits realization.
  • Present proposals to senior management and secure buy-in for strategic projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of both RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Orchestration tools and AI technologies, including their applications in human resources.

Mastery of Tools:

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for creating influential presentations and performing detailed analysis.

Stakeholder and Relationship Management:

  • Outstanding skills in building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strategic and Analytical Thinking:

  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions to support long-term goals.

Communication Excellence:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

HR Acumen:

  • Good understanding of HR operations to identify and support opportunities for technological enhancement.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience Level: 10+ years of experience in product management, project management, or technical leadership roles, with at least 3 years focused specifically on automation and AI solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with HR operations and processes, coupled with practical experience implementing automation or AI technology in an HR context.
  • Technical Skills: A background that supports a deep understanding of both Robotic Process Automation (RPA), orchestration tools and AI technologies, as well as practical experience with related tools and platforms.
  • Education Level: A master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
