Role Overview

As Relyance AI’s Product Owner - Privacy, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of our Privacy product bundle. This role demands a deep understanding of the evolving data privacy and security landscape and a passion for building innovative solutions that address critical customer challenges. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Legal, to deliver high-quality, impactful products that empower our customers to protect their data and ensure compliance.

As a Product Owner, your role will include:

• Work with stakeholders and the development team to elicit, analyze, and document user stories, ensuring they are clear, concise, and meet the Definition of Ready.  
• Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the product strategy and business objectives.
• Participate actively in sprint planning meetings, providing clarity on user stories and acceptance criteria. Follow the progress of development and communicate any roadblocks.
• Participate in testing and validating completed user stories to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
• Triage customer reported issues.

This role could be a fit for you if you bring:

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience. 
• Experience with JIRA. 
• SaaS experience. 
• Technical fluency, with an ability to understand software systems and user flows.. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating product requirements and customer challenges.
• Ability to wear different hats and pivot based on company needs. 
• Excitement about taking on new and varied responsibilities in a fast-growing, dynamic organization.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Privacy, Security, or GDPR.
• Experience with python, Java, Go, or Ruby. 
• Experience with Machine Learning or AI.
