  • Evaluate, recommend, and drive the adoption of best practices, technologies, and tools to optimize development efficiency.
  • Architect and enhance the engineering systems that support scalable, high-performance software delivery, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment infrastructure.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of tools and systems across the engineering organization.
  • Mentor a team of engineers focused on software developer productivity, release management, and engineering systems.
  • Set clear technical direction, establish priorities, and provide guidance to ensure the team delivers high-quality, reliable solutions.
  • Manage technical debt, balancing long-term architectural goals with short-term delivery priorities.
  • Lead efforts to improve release pipelines, implementing automation and ensuring that releases are stable, efficient, and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and product to plan, schedule, and execute software releases.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify challenges and deliver tailored solutions that improve workflows and developer productivity.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to continuously improve developer experience, release management practices, and overall engineering systems.

About you

  • Strong debugging skills; willingness to optimise your code
  • Strong background in building and optimising developer productivity tools and release management systems.
  • Experience in large-scale, distributed systems, ideally within autonomous driving, automotive, or similar complex domains.

Desirable:
