Job Title: Technical Director - Quality and ReliabilityLocation: San Jose, CAJob number: AI2346Job Description:SiMa.ai is looking for a Technical Director Quality and Reliability to lead all Quality and Reliability aspect related to our MLSoCTM controller and board products, including Environmental System, Customers and Suppliers Quality.Areas of focus and key responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
Lead Quality & Reliability organization of SiMa.ai including PQE, CQE, SQE, and Environmental System
Strengthen and expand SiMa.ai Automotive quality infrastructure. Close cooperation and support of the Automotive Business Sector needs and activities.
Provide guidance, drive analysis and implementation in all technical aspects related to Quality, Reliability & Environment activities to meet SiMa.ai business needs
Serve as top representative of SiMa.ai in front of Customers and Supply Partners as required by the business
Define and execute products (ASIC and Board level) qualification procedures and quality control including Industrial and Automotive products
Responsible for suppliers risk management, qualification audit and quality control
Cross-team coordination to handle quality and reliability issues; manage and control RMA and FA, execute 8D reports
Support PCN and ECN activities
Fab, OSAT, and board manufacturing vendors QA control and issues management
Drive Q&R aspects in test program definitions, coverage, changes, and TTR
Process and product reliability monitoring analysis and control
Travel up to 20%
Required Background:
BS/MS in electrical engineering, material science, or a related field
10+ years relevant experience
Strong hands-on technical background in product quality, reliability, and Environment System of mixed signal IC to support tier-1 customers
Mass production experience with Automotive products, including suppliers and customers engagement
Good understanding of all aspects of Automotive standards as AEC-Q100 and ISO 26262
Experience applying JEDEC and ISO standards
Ability to drive multi-functional teams (matrix management), analyze qual or inline (fab/OSAT) excursions, and take decisions with some level of uncertainty
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English

Experience with Mil standards and qualification procedures
Rapport with ISO related items
The annual salary for this position ranges from $240,000 to $305,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, qualifications, expertise, work location, total target compensation, training, company needs, and current market demands.
