Summary of Position:

The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for running the account, working directly with the client stakeholders, and serving as the key liaison between client and the Denali team. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to foster effective collaboration between cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive / Manage service quality and improvement of service delivery processes
  • Drive, manage and report on contract performance standards and client measurements, including defined SLAs and other performance metrics
  • Responsible for and must use independent discretion for the following project levels: 
    • Budget
    • Spend to date
    • Forecasted Spend
    • Assessment of budget burn rate relative to total project budget, scope, and due dates
  • Designing, developing, and integrating third party hardware and software platforms, systems and applications.
  • Account Management
    • Oversee the execution of the MSOW, ensuring all deliverables are met within the agreed timelines and budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for T-Mobile stakeholders, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate with various departments (marketing, IT, customer service) to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project delivery.
  • Agile Delivery
    • Implement and manage Agile delivery models, including development Sprint cycles, to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure the overall quality of deliverables, conduct regular reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Resource Management
    • Fulfill staffing requests, ensure personnel have the necessary domain knowledge and certifications to meet project requirements.
    • Align the projects naming between business owner and the internal definition of the project
    • Ensure that the resources are reporting the time to the right projects
    • Ensure that the weekly reporting of the activities for a project are representative to the work
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs set forth in the MSOW.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues.
  • Reporting
    • Provide operational reports and updates to T-Mobile and Denali leadership, highlighting project status, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Work Environment:

This position is 25% at the client site, depending on the project.  This job operates in a professional office environment, which includes remote work. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs.  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.  The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.  The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.  Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer.  

Required Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree    

8+ years’ experience

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical delivery management, project management, or a related role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.

Agile Methodologies: Proven experience in implementing and managing Agile delivery models, including Scrum and Sprint cycles.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project challenges proactively.

Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
