Syte revolutionizes the retail and eCommerce industry by providing an AI-powered product discovery platform, allowing online retailers to create multiple touchpoints for shoppers (e.g., camera search, similar items, personalization, etc.). Program Management is a key factor in our success. The role oversees the entire development process, from product roadmap and OKR tracking to development KPIs and tech budget control.
What will you do?
We seek an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and orchestrate complex, cross-functional projects, programs, and processes in the tech organization. This role involves close collaboration with the product, engineering, and data science teams, as well as the business teams and senior leadership, ensuring timely delivery, process improvement, and clear communication across all levels of the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Define and drive complex programs in the R&D to meet business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process performance, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and guidance to R&D teams on adopting and utilizing defined best practices.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including the R&D team members, senior leadership, and external partners, to provide updates on process developments, solicit feedback, and address concerns.
- Continuously track the roadmap delivery, customer commitments & SLA.
- Capacity management and tech budget control
- Oversee the IT and Security processes
What do you need to bring with you?
- Minimum of three years experience as a program manager in R&D, ideally within a global SaaS company.
- Significant experience driving large, complex initiatives while leading change management and implementing end-to-end SDLC process improvements.
- Strong understanding of R&D methodologies and tools for product development life cycle.
- Proficiency in the use of JIRA - JIRA administration experience is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making and process optimization.
- A high sense of ownership and accountability, a can-do approach, and a proactive mindset.
- An agile mindset and experience working in Agile.
- Lead without authority - exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and organizational levels, addressing their interests and concerns.
