We are looking for an experienced
Team Lead to join our
Financial Services Scoring team. You will be responsible for guiding and overseeing the development and operations of our core products and other financial services. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage technical and operational tasks, and support the development of innovative financial solutions that enhance customer experience and support business growth.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of our scoring system and risk management processes while collaborating closely with various product, risk, and tech teams.
What you'll get to do:
• Lead a growing team focused on scoring, credit policies, and financial services. Mentor and guide developers and QA engineers, ensuring smooth collaboration and high-quality output. • Oversee and contribute to the backend development of the BNPL and financial services platform. Ensure that the platform remains scalable, efficient, and production-ready. • Work closely with product, risk, and business teams to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive product initiatives forward. Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders. • Lead efforts to migrate current risk policies to the platform. Ensure that credit policies are integrated efficiently into the system to support both B2B and B2C initiatives; support the development of B2C credit products and B2B financial services, including launching new features and initiatives such as
Tabby Cash in Saudi Arabia. • Manage day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring alignment with product goals and stakeholder expectations. Drive operational excellence and maintain a strong product focus.
Skills, knowledge and expertise:
• Proven experience in leading small teams, with a focus on backend development and managing product initiatives. Ability to mentor, guide, and motivate team members. • Strong proficiency in backend development (preferably with Go). Experience working with credit policies, financial services, and scalable platforms. • Familiarity with BNPL, credit products, risk management, and financial services is highly preferred. • Ability to balance technical excellence with operational and product management skills. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals. • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and risk teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with migrating legacy systems or risk policies to modern platforms is a plus.
Nice-to-Have: • Experience with core financial services platforms or BNPL systems. • Familiarity with working in a rapidly growing company and scaling operations. • Previous experience with credit policy systems or risk management.

Relocation
We offer remote work from anywhere in the world and are happy to work out an individual relocation plan for you.
Our employees have the opportunity to choose a country for registration: at the moment those are Armenia/Georgia/Serbia/Portugal/Spain.
We will help you open a legal entity and a bank account. In Armenia and Georgia the taxes are compensated by Tabby. In other countries we provide partial compensation of taxes.
We employ according to B2B contracts (service agreements).For our employees we cover the following:
- Flight to one of the mentioned countries.
- Accommodation during the paperwork completion period.
- Opening a bank account and getting a residence permit in one of the mentioned countries.
- Family relocation (dependants).
New employees can also choose an alternative method of relocation to another country of their choice. In this case, Tabby will reimburse up to $5,000 of verified costs upon opening a legal entity and a bank account.
