About the role

We're looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to own and scale our partner network. This person will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with important strategic partners related to a new product initiative. This is a high-impact role that will shape the growth of a major product — and Thatch more broadly — by securing key partners, driving revenue, and optimizing the overall partner experience.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute the partnership strategy: Define the approach for onboarding and scaling partners across key categories.
  • Identify and secure high-Value partners: Source, pitch, and close deals with top-tier providers, ensuring a strong mix of services that align with customer needs.
  • Optimize commercial models: Structure revenue-sharing agreements and commercial terms that align incentives between Thatch and its partners.
  • Drive partner success: Establish onboarding processes, develop performance metrics, and ensure partners thrive by driving employee engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to enhance partner visibility, optimize employee adoption, and refine the product offering.
  • Monitor and analyze performance: Track key partnership metrics, optimize partner acquisition strategies, and refine the partner experience to drive growth.

 

Background we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships or business development, ideally at a tech company.
  • Proven ability to source, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships that drive revenue and adoption.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations.
  • Comfort in a fast-moving, early-stage environment with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.
