About the Company
At Torc, we have always believed that autonomous vehicle technology will transform how we travel, move freight, and do business.
A leader in autonomous driving since 2007, Torc has spent over a decade commercializing our solutions with experienced partners. Now a part of the Daimler family, we are focused solely on developing software for automated trucks to transform how the world moves freight.
Join us and catapult your career with the company that helped pioneer autonomous technology, and the first AV software company with the vision to partner directly with a truck manufacturer.
Meet the Team
Join the Autonomous Driving Kit (AD-Kit) Components Group, where we design, source, develop, build, and deliver highly scalable AD-Kit components, including an automotive-grade compute platform and cutting-edge sensor technologies. In close cooperation with our component suppliers, we ensure that each component is validated and verified against system-level and component requirements, following best-in-class functional safety and cybersecurity standards.
What You’ll Do
As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will own and drive the technical direction of the group at a systems level. This role spans across hardware engineering, software enablement, and systems engineering to ensure seamless component integration and validation. You will work on embedded computes, data logging, power distribution, smart antennas, and all sensor modalities (radar, LiDAR, camera, microphone, etc.).
