We’re seeking a Senior Accountant - Finance to join our team. Proper is seeking a Senior Accountant with an Innovative mindset, the ability to build processes from scratch and enforce them, and skilled at cross-functional collaboration who is excited to be working in a fast-paced environment that’s continuously evolving. Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
General Ledger Management: Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations. Lead the process for audits and regulatory filings.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement automation tools to improve efficiency.
Tax Preparation: Lead the preparation of Proper’s state and federal filings for compliance with Tax Laws.

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Familiarity with US Tax regulations
