Digital.AI are looking for a security support engineer, to provide customer support for our application protection products. The role is very highly technical and requires an exceptionally detailed understanding of what’s really going on under the hood when a modern application is running.
Our application protection products are used by leading financial institutions, games publishers, media companies etc who trust us to protect their key apps. You will be working closely with our customers’ developers to ensure the protection is applied so that their apps are secure and still work as expected. This is a very different role to the normal assumptions about support; if you want a job that involves constant new challenges, an exceptional number of opportunities to learn about new technologies and a chance to really understand what’s actually going on under the hood in modern applications, this is the role for you. We find some developer experience, and developer experience in a very technical low-level capacity, is necessary in this role; you will be supporting developers and need to understand what they’re doing. However the primary thing we are looking for is someone who’s able and ready to learn new things. Knowledge of security tpoics or cryptography would be a strong plus but we’re essentially looking for the attitude that’s needed to learn about computer security.
In the first instance you will be supporting our Android protection products, with an assumption that you branch out into other areas as you get up to speed.
