  SiMa.ai is looking for a Sr Software Product Marketing Director to lead our software and silicon product marketing activities. This position reports to the Chief Business Officer. In this new role, primary responsibilities are to manage our software and silicon differentiated positioning, product mix, messaging, demand creation game plan, alliances and partnerships. The Sr director will define and execute the go-to-market plan across verticals and partners and support product management with pricing strategy and product mix decisions. This role will also collaborate with our engineering and product management team to define a world class suite of SDK software tools and silicon based on customers’ and partners’ feedback.   A day in the life 
  
The product marketing team works on creating compelling positioning and marketing content to support product launches and campaigns that will help customers be productive building and running applications at the edge. We all have a drive for developing world class marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, print collateral, sales enablement tools). We look for ways to measure the impact of our work on pipeline and revenue growth. We transition from working on strategic plans or creative ideation to detailed execution. We all work together and pick each other up when workloads shift. This helps us manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables. We enjoy supporting a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization. 
  Areas of focus and key responsibilities (include, but not limited to): 
  • Define and execute go to market strategy and product positioning across verticals and partners 
  • Partner with marketing teams (e.g., web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, events, press, analysts) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives and to achieve business goals 
  • Support product management to define software and silicon product mix, competitive positioning, and pricing strategy across verticals 
  • Provide insight for different market segments and channels to help with product definition 
  • Develop and execute on breakthrough product marketing activities that reach target audiences by vertical effectively 
  • Work with product teams to support service launches by distilling key functionality and benefits into product marketing messages 
  • Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages, content and tools (demos, eBooks, presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos, how to guides etc.) 
  • Continuously measure and optimize product marketing initiatives 
  • Work with the partner ecosystem leader to understand partner ecosystem and to develop and launch marketing assets that support strategic alliances and partnerships to achieve roadmap alignment 
  • Drive and manage day-to-day software partnership activities and be the main point person for joint marketing collateral, testimonials, and joint announcements. 
  Basic Qualifications 
  
  • 7+ years of ML software product management experience 
  • Product marketing experience and familiarity with generative AI, multi-modal, or machine learning and embedded developer audiences  
  • Strong working knowledge of the AI/ML market, landscape, and trends 
  • Solid understanding of SDKs & APIs along with working knowledge of DL frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch 
  • Excellent organizational collaboration and communication skills to positively influence and inspire others to achieve a common team goal and to articulate recommendations and tradeoffs to peers and senior executives. 
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance (input, output metrics) across go to market and demand creation channels 
  • Proven ability to make creative, effective, reliable, analytical, and tough decisions 
  • Understanding of embedded processing and computer vision 
  • Ability to travel ~20% domestically and internationally 
Desired Qualifications and Skills:  
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science /Electrical Engineering AI, Machine Learning and generative AI experience 
  • Self-starter with experience in AI and/or software start-ups with a proven record to deliver outstanding results with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment and commit and deliver to deadlines. 
The annual salary for this position ranges from $227,500 to $285,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, qualifications, expertise, work location, total target compensation, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.       Personal Attributes:    Can do attitude and strong team player.
