Position Summary:


As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving impactful data-driven solutions within our team. Your work will focus on developing predictive models, leveraging machine learning algorithms, and analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. You will be solving complex business problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying opportunities to optimize processes and performance. Our team is focused on delivering high-quality, scalable data products that directly contribute to the success of the organization.
 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Extensive experience working with machine learning algorithms, including but not limited to regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Strong experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end data science solutions, from problem definition to model deployment.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Familiarity with deploying models to production environments and integrating with business applications.
  • Experience working with large-scale, unstructured data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
