Accellor is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative team of engineering professionals. In this role, you will leverage your advanced knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data engineering to develop and implement predictive models that drive business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights that enhance decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Design, implement, and monitor predictive models and algorithms, ensuring their performance and scalability in production.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions that align with strategic goals.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively through visualization tools and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models, iterating on improvements based on performance metrics.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science; apply new methodologies and tools to enhance our analytical capabilities.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
