Sr. Data Scientist

Job Description: 

Sr. Data Scientist positions offered by CCI Corporate Services LLC (Atlanta, GA). Participate in critical strategic initiatives, developing sophisticated predictive models, building scalable data products, and growing the overall Data Science capability at Cox. Understand business problems and design end-to-end analytics use cases. Participate in collaborations with business tech leads to implement reusable and robust solutions. Apply strong expertise in machine-learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype and build insightful analytics engines and micro-services. Engage in discussions with data science leadership and engagement teams to present solutions and insights to the business. Support efforts to maintain and track project goals and road maps. Collaborate with software and data engineers to implement and deploy scalable solutions.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Business Analytics, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Analytics, Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the position offered or 4 years of experience performing data science or analytics. Requires 4 years of experience performing statistical analysis through testing and utilizing Bayesian or frequentist methodologies. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, the employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and experience or graduate-level coursework as stated. Also requires experience or graduate-level coursework: performing analysis using Big Data; utilizing Deep Learning, NLP, Graph Neural Nets, or NLP techniques; applying supervised and unsupervised learning techniques; applying PySpark, SageMaker, Docker, R, and Tensorflow; using Spark or SQL; and determining appropriate visualizations and creating compelling stories with data.  Employee reports to office in Atlanta, GA. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.

Compensation includes a base salary of $120,842 to $139,050. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
