About the Role:We’re looking for a technically savvy, customer-facing Solutions Engineer to support Cyvl’s go-to-market team and act as the bridge between our platform and prospective customers. You’ll be the technical backbone of complex sales cycles—translating customer needs into feasible solutions, scoping integrations, and building compelling proofs of concept that demonstrate real value. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of our hardware and software stack, and the ability to speak confidently with both customers and engineers. You’ll also be encouraged to leverage AI-powered tools to streamline demos, generate visual assets, and accelerate the technical sales process. Responsibilities
Partner with Account Executives and go-to-market (GTM) leadership to support technical conversations during sales cycles
Serve as the first point of contact for the GTM team when product capability questions arise
Master the full suite of Cyvl's products to confidently participate in technical product overviews and customer demos
Act as the technical voice in meetings with prospects and customers, translating business needs into viable sensor + data workflows
Build lightweight demos and first-pass deliverables to show what's possible
Collaborate with engineering to scope feasibility and limitations of proposed customizations
Develop visualizations and presentations that clearly explain how Cyvl’s system works and what value it delivers
Write simple scripts or configuration setups to power early-stage deployments or concept validation
Maintain alignment with the product team by flagging recurring customer requests or new use case opportunities
Deeply understand the product and roadmap to sell customers on the vision of what’s next
Leverage new and emerging AI tools to improve efficiency, automate routine tasks, and scale the impact of your role
Required Skills
3-5 years of experience in a technical sales role
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences
Comfortable building simple visualizations or proof-of-concept outputs
Strong collaboration skills — you’ll work across Sales, Engineering, and Product daily
Organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple concurrent sales conversations
Coding/scripting experience (Python, bash, or similar)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS, etc.)
Exposure to 3D data types (LiDAR, point clouds, mapping) or imagery
Exposure to data annotation tools (CVAT, etc)
Experience creating or presenting technical solutions in sales settings
Understanding of sensor hardware deployments or edge devices
