As a Solutions Engineer, you will sit at the heart of the sales process, working with all the technologies Akamai has to offer. By partnering with engineering and business teams, you will become the technical expert our customers rely on. You'll play a pivotal role in designing innovative solutions and building relationships with major customers and partners in Italy. Solutions that will impact millions of users!

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers and designing technical solutions to meet our customer’s needs and business goals: we continuously find creative ways to solve problems and achieve results.
• Building and growing trusted relationships with customers to articulate Akamai's value proposition and build future revenue opportunities: our customers and their success come first, in everything we do
• Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate: we adhere to the highest degree of ethics, honesty, and transparency.
• Working closely with sales to develop opportunities through presentations, consultations, demonstrations, analysis reports and proof of concepts: we achieve success through the cooperative exchange of skills and ideas.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bring expertise in Pre-sales or Post-sales technical solutions roles
• Have a passion for cloud technologies (such as architectures, open-source tools, and cloud migration methodologies), internet applications design, and networking. Have familiarity with application and network security. 
• Have experience in presenting technical topics and possess strong communication skills for both technical and management audiences.
• Find fulfillment in teamwork, thriving in an inclusive atmosphere that values diverse ideas, and in navigating and solving issues in rapidly evolving contexts.
• Be fluent in Spanish and English.
