Job Description

As a Solution Architect specializing in Data & AI at Drees & Sommer, you’re not just part of the team—you’re at the forefront of innovation. Your role is crucial: you bridge the gap between potential and reality, connecting our sales force with our customers. You’re the architect of bespoke digital solutions, crafting a portfolio that’s as cutting-edge as it is custom-fit.

Your mission? To bring a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to the table. You will align with customers, deeply understanding their specific needs and challenges. Through in-depth consultations, you will uncover opportunities to harness the power of Data & AI to transform data landscapes. You’ll dive deep into customer engagements, identifying opportunities to revolutionize data management, AI, governance, and analytics.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced data solutions that meet our clients' unique needs.

Your Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and challenges.

Solution Design: Develop comprehensive data and AI solutions, including architecture design, technology selection, and integration strategies.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technical and non-technical teams, ensuring best practices in data engineering, machine learning, and AI implementation.

Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Data and AI technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to apply these innovations to client solutions.

Documentation: Create detailed customer facing technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and proposal offerings for solutions and services.

Collaboration: Work closely with sales, our project/bid management office, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical consulting preferred.
• Microsoft Azure/Fabric Certifications would be beneficial.
• Experience in 3 or more of the following technology concepts: Data Warehousing and Semantic Modelling, Data Engineering, Realtime data streaming, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Internet Of Things, Data Governance, Data Quality.
• You are a genuine team player and leader who will complement Drees & Sommer existing team whilst driving growth and helping us continuously improve.

• Your significant previous experience in a consulting role means you can hit the ground running.
