Your mission
As a Software Test Engineer, you will have a key role in shaping our system-level testing strategy for complex, hardware-integrated defense solutions. Working with multiple sensors—such as radar, cameras, and acoustic devices—and computing hardware, you’ll define what makes a valuable test and ensure coverage across unit, component, and system levels. You’ll drive the adoption of test-driven development, contribute to automated testing frameworks, and maintain clear documentation—all with the goal of continuously improving code quality and overall system performance.Responsibilities:Establish a test-driven development culture for C-UAS system developmentImplement unit, integration, and system-level tests for safety-critical C-UAS applicationsDefine and implement test strategies for system development, ensuring comprehensive validation through planning and executionDevelop and execute test plans for software interfacing with a diverse set of sensors, including radar, optical cameras, and acoustic devices.Contribute to and review C++ code in our high-performance, safety-critical stack.Create and maintain clear testing documentation and protocols to support certifications and audit readiness.Perform tests in collaboration with simulation engineers for C-UAS systemsWork closely with software, AI, and embedded teams to optimize testing methodologies
Your profile
3+ years’ experience in testing software in complex, multi-sensor systems running across diverse computing platforms, with a strong focus on integration, performance.Experience with relevant testing frameworks as GoogleTest, Catch, etc.Expertise in test automation, and CI/CD pipelinesProficiency in C++, Python for collaborating with the engineering team on new features and relevant tests  Familiarity with version control, test coverage analysis, and safety-critical testing methodsExperience working with sensor data (radar, video, acoustic, or other modalities) is a plus.Strong documentation skills and a systematic mindset for quality and verification. Nice to have:Experience in ROS2 and middleware technologies in a resource-constrained environmentMetaOutside of the box creativity, conceptional & systematic design thinking, disciplined executionServant leader mindset, placing team success over egoHighest moral standards and work ethicWe value extra-curricular responsibilities and achievements in your biographyIntrinsic motivation, willing to go the extra mile, attention to detailFluent in EnglishNationality of a NATO member nation or close ally is a mustSuccessful candidates will be required to obtain security clearance
