In this position

Hailo is seeking a dedicated manual tester/integrator to join our team and contribute to the advancement of our next-generation imaging processors. In this role, you will tackle various challenges in our imaging and vision lab, including enhancing image quality, executing new algorithms, and integrating sensors.

Your work will have a direct impact on the future of our vision products and support Hailo's mission to become a leading SoC provider for cameras. If you are passionate about vision technology, have experience with imaging, sensor calibration, tuning, and are proficient with Linux, automation, and QA, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities

  • Manual Testing: Execute manual tests, including taking camera shots and analyzing the results.
  • Test Plan Execution: Follow detailed test plan procedures to ensure comprehensive validation.
  • Camera Calibration: Perform calibration of cameras to ensure optimal performance.
  • Image Quality Validation: Validate the image quality produced by the camera chips.
  • Documentation: Document test results and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the various R&D teams to improve product quality and performance, ensuring continuous improvement in imaging performance and alignment with industry standards.
  • System Setup and Maintenance: Manage the various setups and maintenance of Linux-based imaging systems and verity of different types of cameras , including system configuration, troubleshooting, and updates to maintain high performance and stability.

  • Attention to Details: Strong attention to details is essential for identifying and documenting issues accurately.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the R&D team and document findings.

Advantages

  • Photography Knowledge: Experience and knowledge in photography domain are important for understanding/debug and evaluating the quality of the product.
  • Linux Proficiency: Proven experience working with Linux-based environments, including system setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with camera calibration techniques and image analysis tools.
  • Automation Skills: Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline lab processes and enhance efficiency.
