The PSAP team is looking for an Intern with a strong interest in machine learning, and AI model evaluation join us in the Raanana office. In this role, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement an end-to-end performance evaluation process for the InstructLab Data Science pipeline. You will help manage and create an end to end evaluation process using both known benchmarks and custom benchmarks for private data. You will also measure performance of this end to end process as part of this workflow. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI model performance and benchmark creation, while also learning how to deploy and scale models effectively in a cloud-native environment like IBMCloud.
Participate in the design and implementation of an E2E evaluation framework for Instructlab data science pipeline.
Measure performance for the E2E Instructlab pipeline
Work on integrating existing benchmarks,and contribute to the development of new custom benchmarks for model evaluation
Contribute to the evaluation of the InstructLab pipeline, ensuring that models meet performance standards for synthetic and private data
Assist in analyzing model performance metrics, interpreting results, and identifying areas for improvement, with a focus on optimizing performance
Collaborate with the team on troubleshooting, and ensuring that evaluation pipelines run smoothly.
Programming languages: 1+ years of experience programming in Python; basic experience with Bash is a plus.
Engineering skills: Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), working knowledge of linux, experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes is a plus.
Soft skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Additional requirements: Experience with cloud-native deployments on OpenShift or Kubernetes, and prior experience working with data privacy or evaluation metrics for machine learning models is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2026 or 2027
Must be available for the internship from May 2025 till April 2026
