The PWC Security Team is responsible for developing security solutions to address the organization’s security-related challenges and requirements.
The PWC Security Team is looking for a motivated intern to help develop an AI model that enhances our vulnerability management process. This model will analyze historical vulnerability data, code change metrics, threat intelligence, and exploit patterns to predict which vulnerabilities pose the highest risk to our products.
What You’ll Work On
Aggregating historical vulnerability data, including severity ratings, EPSS scores, remediation timelines, and exploit occurrences
Training an AI model to rank or score vulnerabilities based on risk factors
Developing an API and dashboard for seamless integration into our vulnerability management system and CI/CD pipelines

To be a great match for this internship you:
Are a graduating bachelor or a master student in Software Engineering, Security, AI, computer science or a related field.
Have experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks and interest in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
Have basic knowledge of APIs, CI/CD systems, and data processing. Preferably also knowledge of Java and Maven.
Are able to work independently and autonomously and are pro-active.
Have strong communication skills and are fluent in English (verbal and written).
This is a final-year bachelor or a master apprentice/graduation internship for 6 to 12 months, for 4 to 5 days per week (at least 3 days onsite for full-time). The start date of this internship is September 2025.
Other requirements you need to meet
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
