Pay Rate: 65.00 – 90.00/HR DOE + Potential Signing Bonus

We are looking for a key member to join our team supporting a large client, leading our offshore engineering team in the development of websites, leveraged by AI. You will have experience in leading teams, writing and shipping frontend code, developing cloud-native applications and APIs, AI knowledge, proficiency in PostgreSQL or equivalent, and proficiency in modern JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the scope, requirements and translate to the offshore team
• Lead and manage the delivery of the offshore team
• Code reviews of the offshore team
• Work collaboratively with engineers, researchers, and product managers
• Think strategically about end-to-end processes with the offshore team and how to improve them
• Contribute to the development/engineering of web sites, back-ends, APIs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Experience as a tech lead or engineering mentor
• Strong collaboration skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills (solution oriented)
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or equivalent database in production
• Keen eye for good UX design and effective patterns
• Expertise across the software development life cycle, including code standards, reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Excellent problem-solving skills to move fast in a dynamic environment, with a focus on code quality, testing, and performance optimization
• Exemplify the quality of having a “Proactive Approach,” attitude which includes a high level of accountability, transparency, and teamwork first and foremost
