Software Engineer, Systems ML - PyTorch Performance and Engagement Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to high-impact projects at the intersection of ML, PyTorch development, and community engagement
- Develop and maintain CUDA MODE, one of the world's largest ML systems communities
- Organize and execute ML competitions across performance, on device, fine tuning and code generation
- Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art code-generation models with open-source principles
- Improve and expand Torchao, our PyTorch quantization and performance library
- Initiate and grow new projects and communities within the PyTorch ecosystem
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive experience with PyTorch and machine learning systems
- Proven programming skills, particularly in Python and CUDA
Preferred Qualifications
- Master/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Contributions to prominent open-source ML projects
- Experience organizing technical competitions or conferences
- Track record of publications in top-tier ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
