The Role

Are you a dynamic and innovative engineer looking to make a significant impact? Join our Business Architecture team! You'll be at the forefront of identifying and addressing business capability gaps within our IT ecosystem. By leveraging low-code platforms and Applied AI, you'll design and deploy cutting-edge automated solutions that maximize our organizational return on investment. Your work will help deliver tactical and strategic solutions on a global scale, enabling our business to succeed quickly and efficiently.

You should have a strong software engineering background and experience with low-code development platforms like SAP Build, Workato, and Power Platform. We're looking for a visionary thinker who can collaborate across teams to prototype, develop, and implement solutions that drive business efficiency and innovation.

Your other responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify business capability gaps and propose technology solutions.
  • Develop, prototype, and deploy automation solutions using low-code platforms (SAP Build, Workato, Power Platform).
  • Integrate scoped AI-driven processes to enhance existing business workflows and create new opportunities through automation.
  • Work closely with IT and Middle/ Back Office teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technology strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on the use of low-code platforms to other team members and departments.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in low-code development and AI to continuously improve our capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of an strategic roadmap for innovation-driven Business Architecture, including identifying key projects and initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize solutions to ensure robust performance and scalability.
  • Train and onboard functional or technical resources to enable adoption and self-efficacy in the use of these applied business solutions

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects
  • Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, R, Node, .Net etc.) with debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software
  • A background in low-code development platforms.
  • Proficiency in at least one low-code platform (e.g., SAP Build, Workato, Power Platform) or directly applicable skills.
  • Strong understanding of automation and AI technologies and their practical applications in business process.
  • Experience with API integrations, data management, and process automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
  • Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
  • Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with business process management (BPM) and enterprise architecture concepts.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $85,920 to $163,320 based on a full-time schedule.  

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: 

California: $94,440 to $195,840 

Colorado: $85,920 to $163,320 

New York City: $103,080 to $195,840 

Washington: $94,440 to $179,400 

Washington DC: $94,440 to $179,400 

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
