Partner with the best

You will be responsible for taking the engineering capabilities to the next level in the API protection.
You will join the "code scanning" team, responsible for developing Noname's next-generation API discovery methodology.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Developing core platform components for Noname's code scanning team using cutting-edge technologies.
• Playing a key role in building scalable backend solutions that process and analyze source code at scale.
• Owning the full development lifecycle, including designing, architecting, developing, testing, deploying, and operating core customer-facing components.
• Conducting deep-dive research on programming languages and backend frameworks, integrating insights into the platform.
• Managing dynamic workloads, including feature development, debugging, hotfixes, and issue resolution in a Python environment.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 3+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable systems
• Have a solid backend development background with experience in a major framework (e.g., Flask, Express, Spring Boot)
• Have experience designing and developing microservices, including orchestration, scaling, and automation within a CI/CD workflow.
• Have 1+ year of experience with Python and familiarity with modern software development practices
• Have in-depth experience with SQL databases, including schema design and optimization
• Have the ability to prioritize and adapt to evolving development needs
• Have exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Have experience working with large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $83,800 - $174,200/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
