Position: R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff-II, Product Development

Previous experience: Design and development of commercial software either individually or or a combination of an on-prem, Web or Cloud, using .Net. Ideally couple of year of recent experience on developing AI capabilities in these products would be.

Location: Cambridge, UK – Hybrid

The job

As part of our global AI development group, you’ll collaborate with a team of skilled software engineers in designing and implementing AI capabilities and solutions into our product suite. The work will include identifying goals for advanced analytics/AI, managing training data, building, deploying and monitoring AI services. You will have the opportunity to work in a niche segment with the latest technologies to ensure that we build and bring meaningful AI capabilities to the market.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement innovative and intuitive AI capabilities into our AVEVA solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders be it architects, domain experts and engineers from other product teams to infuse AI capabilities into their products.
  • You may also work on products which could be a mix of on-prem, SaaS, desktop based or web/mobile app
  • Delivering a performant and secure product/service will require you to evaluate the updates made and their impact on the base architecture and design.

Ideal experience

  • You can demonstrate examples of strong design, coding and unit testing skills, using C# and PYTHON.
  • Hands-on development experience on AI & Machine Learning with good knowledge of basic statistical and mathematical concepts.
  • Experience with interactive JavaScript/JS frameworks couple with SQL/NOSQL databases and familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes in an Agile environment.
  • You have a demonstrated development experience with client-server/distributed systems/cloud computing on a commercial scale.

Hybrid working
